About

Now that I seem to have fallen into the habit of semi-regular updates to this blog, I guess it's time I made a proper 'about' page. I hate it when you come across something on the internet and can't figure out what it is that you're really looking at, so here we go: disclosure.

I started this blog in November 2010 without any real expectations. It survived for a couple of posts and was then promptly forgotten about. I picked it up again in August 2011, but the overall 'theme' (if there can be said to be one) is, I think, still fairly consistent with the direction of the first post: An Introduction.

I don't tie myself to any particular content, and I don't profess any expertise in any area at all. Please don't make the mistake of thinking that anything I have to say is at all well researched or authoritative!

As for me, my name is Brendon Steen. I live in Auckland, New Zealand.  2011 is my fifth year of conjoint Commerce (Accounting) and Law degrees at the University of Auckland. I've been working part time in retail since late 2004.

My interests are in law, public policy, critical management theory, constitutional issues and macroeconomic systems.

My Twitter account is brendonRS and I'm on Facebook, Google+, Tumblr and everything else as well, but I'm not going to link to those here.
